KETTERING ARTS CENTRE
SATURDAY 25 NOVEMBER
SALLY BARKER + CHRIS CONWAY & DAN BRITTON
£9 advance, £10 on the door, 7.30pm start (doors 7pm)
SALLY BARKER. An amazing, rave-reviewed singer- songwriter who can move people to tears with her 'bucket-full of soul' voice (including, memorably, Sir Tom Jones on BBC’s The Voice), Sally has had a long, varied and successful career in music & her appeal stretches across many musical genres. She has supported the likes of Bob Dylan & Robert Plant.
CHRIS CONWAY & DAN BRITTON The multi-instrumental Govannen front men are two of the finest musicians in the East Midlands and a powerful combination, each a distinguished singer-songwriter in his own right. Blending American and Celtic styles with fantastic vocals, they have the unique ability to sound like a full band.
COTTAGE CONCERT, COMMUNITY CENTRE, OLD
FRIDAY 20 OCTOBER
THE ROSELLYS
£8, 8pm start
Influenced by country, bluegrass, roots, folk, cajun and blues, this brilliant five piece UK band are really making their mark on the British Americana scene. Several trips to the Southern USA have clearly influenced The Rosellys, leading to a combination of energy and melody in their song writing and live performances that are often compared with artists such as Alison Krauss and Emmylou Harris. A very class act.
